SSP 003: Just Blow it Up with Dixie Gillaspie

Dixie-Dynamite

In this episode of The Social Strategy Podcast I really enjoyed talking with Dixie Gillaspie AKA Dixie Dynamite.  Dixie is the author of Just Blow it Up – Firepower for Living an Unlimited Life and a companion book, Doses of Dynamite – Firepower for Capturing the Inspiration in Everyday Things. She is also a contributing author, along with Dr. Christian Guenette, Gillian Laura Roberts, Dr. Bernie Seigal, and others, to The Thought That Changed My Life Forever.

Her success stories have been featured in books such as Go-Givers Sell More, by Bob Burg and John David Mann, and The Referral Engine, by John Jantsch of Duct Tape Marketing.  She's also shared the stage with the likes of Zig Zigler, Bob Burg, John David Mann, Sally Hogshead,  and Scott Ginsberg.

I learned a lot in this interview and I'm sure you will too.  Plus we actually got kicked out of the place we were recording so you will have to listen to find out what happened.

Specifically  in this episode we learn about:

  • The value of presence
  • How people confuse authenticity and transparency.  "How not to show up with your warts showing."
  • Five Laws of Stratospheric Success - Explained  (From Bob Burg & John David Mann's  The Go Giver)

This book will fire you up and teach you how to blow past those things that are holding you back.
